I’m a Former NCAA Division 1 Baseball Player and 2x US National Champion in snowboard racing.
Before my 2nd birthday, I was strapped on to my first pair of skis.
I’m now an avid downhill skier, mountain biker and waterskier.
Needless to say, being active has always been a massive part of my life and fitness has definitely shaped who I am as a person.
Backyard Fitness was started shortly after the pandemic struck as a way to show the world that even with gyms shut down, you can still keep up with your fitness routine and achieve your fitness goals.
For now, this site is focused a lot on bodyweight exercises and resistance band exercises.
I have access to a very limited about of equipment…I’m talking about some resistance bands, gliders and a medicine ball.
I don’t have a fancy home gym or sophisticated equipment and I’m here to tell you, it’s not about that stuff…
It’s about being consistent and working hard.
It’s about pushing past the limitations set in your head.
It’s about starting your workout even when you don’t feel like it.
Results come from showing up.
Day in and day out.
Consistency wins.
There’s no secret.
No shortcuts.
